Dog Person

Why am I a dog person? *shrug* Just am.

But that does not include this kind of dog.

Aside: I have a soft spot for various forms of Colorodo cats who are welcome anytime.

awwww shucks, KJ. I get a shout out on your blog...??? (~;) purrr

Humanly speaking, I prefer dogs over cats, however, I have a gorgeous, very sweet (although typically feline in many ways) boy kitty (well, post *snip* 'It-kitty') who is quite amusing at times, and who is very committed to the loo only...meaning he does not pee on the equipment (nor other no pee zones)...although he does like lying on top of the puter monitor. He's also the same size as my dog...approx 12-15 lbs.

Strangely enough, it seems that outside of well tempered labs and retrievers (usually), mutts are the best. That's not to say my "rottweiller in drag", Shih Tzu isn't superbly sweet and adorable.......for 99.9999% of the time.

As to the gut wrenching story, I do feel sorry for the mom, although (horrific hindsight) she should have barricaded the dogs, not the boy...or taken him along---obviously.

I wonder if raising Marmosettes would be lucrative for Cass. (~;)

Well OK then, Cass.
I was just aiming for something other than canine, feline, or ferret! (~;)

I had a beagle puppy when I was a kid. I think it was stolen. My dad made me keep it out in the garage at night and it got his little chain (tether) tied around stuff and knocking it down, and I think it escaped and was "found". My 2 bros spent the better part of 2 weeks combing the "neighborhood (not that many houses out there then) after school every day looking for that CUUUUUTE little booger dog. *sniff* To no avail.
