I am not a tech person.

Haloscan commenting and trackback HAS NOT been added to this blog. I am so frustrated.

I don't need Haloscan commenting. The site says it can add only backtracking but doesn't explaint how. So I do not have backtracking. If you link me, please let me know by comment or e-mail.

If I link you and you want to know, let me know.

UPDATE: Cassandra helped me, and now I have backtracking.

So get busy people. Start linking and backtracking me! Do I need to send you an invitation?

I know it can be done because Jack did it, but he is a Princeton guy.

What you need KJ, is a montage.

Like, of me studying tech books, then typing, then exercising my typing fingers, then studying with you yelling at me over my shoulder to get that knowledge about trackbacks into my head, then back to studying, then exercising, and ending with the Cheese having backtracks and its original comments?

That kind of montage?

I could use that.

Yes, exactly.

But don't forget the music, something inspirational like a Night Ranger tune.

Having Haloscan comments will let more people comment... which would probably be good, and you can always manage the comments with Haloscan by deleting, IP bans, or shutting off for certain comments. I don't have a troll problem, so I haven't had to test to full capacity, but I prefer the Haloscan flexibility.

I also never lost comments, though the comment link may show zero comments - but they were still there. Hope it all works out for you; I had visions of a Pile-On-directed learning experience (without the music), but so far, so good.

Well, tee bee, they were there, somewhere, but they didn't show up when you hit comments. They showed up only when I disconnected haloscan.

I agree that haloscan has some neat capabilities, but no one cares enough about little ole me to troll.

You don't sound bitter about it ;)

I'll have to post something so I can trackback. If you weren't so prolific, it would be easier. /suckup
